It is a pleasure to invite you to our workshop and to contribute to a special issue on the governance of vocational education and training (VET) in the countries of Southeast Europe and the Black Sea Region.
The workshop is organised by the Center for Governance and Culture in Europe (GCE at University of St. Gallen, Switzerland), the Leading House on Governance in Vocational and Professional Education and Training (GOVPET at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland), and the New Europe College (NEC in Bucharest, Romania).
It will take place in Bucharest in the last week of May 2022. It will be a great honour for us and an excellent opportunity for you to share your newest scientific work in the field of governance of VET in the countries of Southeast Europe and the Black Sea Region.
Please send an abstract of max. 300 words and an executive summary with up to 1000 words (in PDF-format), clearly outlining the focus and the structure of the proposed paper, as well as a short academic biography to gce-info@unisg.ch until 14 November 2021.
More details here or at gce.unisg.ch.
In addition, the GCE and the GOVPET are jointly granting a research fellowship to a promising junior researcher from a research institute located in a country in Southeast Europe or in the Black Sea region to conduct innovative research on VET governance. All relevant information regarding the topics of interest, submission guidelines, and important dates can be found here or at gce.unisg.ch.
The deadline to submit the research proposals and to apply for the research grant is the 14th of November 2021.
They need to be sent to gce-info@unisg.ch. Submissions from late PhD students and Post-Doc researchers are particularly welcomed.
