Summary:
This paper provides an overview of the work and approach of the Archaeological Project in Bucium.1 The basis of the project is that the recognition of archaeological landscapes should be an important aspect of any proactive management strategy for the Transylvanian archaeological resource. The project should be set against the background of the impact of current and future landscape change on the archaeological resource.
