This project aimed at achieving a scientifically reliable translation of the Septuagint into Romanian by a group of very gifted, mostly young, Romanian scholars, attached to the NEC.
The financial support was granted by the Romanian foundation Anonimul.
Seven of the planned nine volumes were published by the Polirom Publishing House in Iaşi.
