Investigating the Efficacy of International Humanitarian Law in Protecting POWs of War and Civilian Hostages in Russia's war against Ukraine

Research Objectives:

-Analyze the Implementation of Geneva Conventions in Russia’s war against Ukraine: Examine how the principles outlined in the Geneva Conventions are applied or violated in the context of the current conflict, focusing on the treatment of POWs of war (POWs) and civilian hostages;
-Evaluate the Role of Legal and Humanitarian Initiatives;
-Assess the Humanitarian Conditions and Legal Challenges.
