The project explores the enduring legacies of the Habsburg Empire through the industrial evolution in various peripheral cities, particularly Timișoara. Employing a comparative and interdisciplinary approach, it analyses political, administrative, economic, and architectural aspects from the late 18th century to the present. Utilizing bibliographical, archival, and on-site research, the study aims to provide nuanced insights into the socio-cultural dimensions of industrial heritage.
