In/Out of the Spotlight: How Dramatic Works Are Included, Excluded, and Ignored by the Literary Canon. A Focus on Romanian Drama

This project examines how plays are included in, excluded from, or ignored by the literary canon, with a focus on contemporary Romanian drama. Drawing on canon theory, performance studies, and institutional analysis, it examines how plays gain or lose status through text, performance, and culture, and proposes a model of dramatic canonicity grounded in process and performance.
