Enemy Minority is a book project based on 16 months of ethnographic doctoral research in post-war Vukovar, Croatia. By centering Serb everyday life, the book challenges liberal models of minority inclusion and shows how belonging and difference are negotiated through ordinary practices in ontologically insecure states. It introduces the concept of the “enemy minority” to advance scholarship on nationalism, post-conflict societies, political sociology, and post-socialist transformation.
