The aim of the proposed research is to analyze the epistolary corpus of Jerome of Stridon using new research tools from the field of digital humanities. By adding networks science theory and tools to the textual analysis of the letters, I would like to digitally reconstruct and explore the social network developed through this act of communication, which Jerome used as a strategy of selfpromotion in his activity of Biblical translator and exegete, as well as ascetic leader.
