The project investigates bureaucratic fiction as a transnational, cross-media cultural form, tracing literary and cinematic representations of administration in the process of shifting from paper-based archives to digital infrastructures. Combining cultural history, media theory, and affect theory, it analyzes how bureaucracy shapes subjectivity, power, and everyday experience in 21st-century literature and screen media.
