My project is a personal investigation of the migration dilemma. I plan to analyse the narratives of migration of some very good friends of mine belonging to the “latchkey generation” (Generation X) who left the country during the ’90s. The point of view is of a person that never left Romania for good, but who was recently confronted with his daughter’s migration and discovered an old anxiety of abandonment.
