Thibault MUZERGUES, Regional Director for Europe, International Republican Institute, Writer, Political Analyst and Trainer

Thibault Muzergues has been working at the International Republican Institute‘s Europe Regional Office since 2011, and currently serves as its Europe Program Director, based in Vienna, Austria. At IRI, Thibault Muzergues specialises in work with political parties, assisting their development as a way to stabilize political systems. He is the author of several articles on openDemocracy.net and in the French newspaper Le Monde, and a book on the evolution of the party systems in Europe and North America, „La Quadrature des classes. Comment de nouvelles classes sociales bouleversent les systèmes de partis en Occident”. He is also a recognized trainer for politicians and political party staff, having trained young and senior leaders all over Europe, but also in Africa (Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Niger, Senegal, etc.), Asia (Burma, Thailand, Pakistan) and the Middle East and North Africa (Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia).
